1.Use of the Site

The Site is provided for general information about SEEAT and its products, open-source projects and services. We may change, suspend or discontinue any part of the Site at any time without notice.

2.No offer and no advice

Nothing on the Site is an offer to sell, or a solicitation of an offer to buy, any security or product, and nothing on it constitutes investment, legal, tax or other professional advice.

Market sizes, projections, roadmaps and other forward-looking statements reflect current expectations and assumptions, are subject to significant risks and uncertainties, and may not prove accurate. Do not place undue reliance on them.

3.Intellectual property

The SEEAT name and logo, and the design, text, graphics and other content of the Site, are owned by SEEAT or its licensors and are protected by intellectual-property laws. You may view the Site, share links to it, and print or download extracts for your own reference. Any other use — including reproduction, modification, distribution or commercial use — requires our prior written permission.

Our open-source projects are licensed separately under the terms stated in their respective repositories; those licenses govern your use of that code.

4.Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• use the Site in violation of any applicable law or regulation;
• attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Site, its servers or related systems;
• interfere with, disrupt or place an unreasonable load on the Site;
• scrape or harvest data other than as permitted by our robots file;
• submit false information, or another person’s personal data without authorization, through our forms;
• use the contact form to transmit spam, malware or unlawful, infringing or harmful content.

5.Third-party links

The Site links to third-party websites and resources, such as GitHub, our product sites and app stores. We do not control and are not responsible for their content, policies or practices.

6.Disclaimers

The Site is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Site will be uninterrupted, timely, secure or error-free, or that any information on it is complete or current.

7.Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, SEEAT and its officers, employees and agents will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, data, goodwill or business, arising out of or relating to your use of, or inability to use, the Site. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law.

8.Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold SEEAT harmless from claims, losses, liabilities and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your misuse of the Site or breach of these Terms.

9.Governing law and jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of China (Taiwan), without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Site will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Taiwan Taipei District Court as the court of first instance, unless mandatory law provides otherwise.

10.Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes take effect when posted, as indicated by the effective date above. Your continued use of the Site after changes are posted means you accept the revised Terms.
